We can take client's artwork supplied on disc or by e-mail, as well as plotting maps produced by XYZ. Why not get a extra large or customised wall map made for you? We have done World Wall Maps up to 5 metres wide, for example.

The following prices apply to any output on paper external to your organisation that we classify as a published product. For example a Cartographer wishing to use our products as a base for a map sold to a client for inclusion in a printed brochure. Copyright Charges are applicable in the following examples: a map to be included as part of a Tourist Information brochure, a map to be used in an advertising poster, and a sheet map showing access routes to a hotel.

These charges do not apply for XYZ Map Data Sets where publishing rights may be purchased for a fixed one-off fee, for example the XYZ Overview World data.

1. A £25 delivery charge per Master Data Set will be made, together with an hourly charge for any work which you ask us to undertake to alter the maps to your requirements.

2. The following Copyright Charge in pence per copy printed:

If you are a Publisher and wish to use our mapping in paper products for sale, then the following charges apply. Examples of such situations would be the publication of a city street atlas for sale through the shops, inclusion of our mapping as part of a United Kingdom road atlas, and so forth.

These charges do not apply for XYZ Map Data Sets where publishing rights may be purchased for a fixed one-off fee, for example the XYZ Overview World data.

1. A £25 delivery charge per master data set plus an hourly charge for any work which you ask us to do to alter the maps to your requirements.

2. A Royalty equal to the Copyright Charge for print usage or 5% of the Recommended Retail Price, whichever is the higher.

Should our mapping constitute less than 75% of the content of your publication, then the Royalty Charge element will be by negotiation.

Training Course Prices

The following table lists our training prices irrespective of the type of software being taught. It should be noted however that some software applications would usually require only 1 day's Training while other types require more. 1 day courses, for instance, are recommended for MAPublisher, GeoImager and Illustrator, while a 2 or 3 day course will enable a better understanding of ArcView or MapInfo.

These prices are for courses held in Dalkeith and for on-site training, where the trainees can provide a suitable venue.

For Courses Outside of Dalkeith, where XYZ organises a training venue, the price is £595 per Delegate (for 3 days), irrespective of the number of delegates per organisation. This simply helps us to cover the cost of hiring a venue.

NB: You will be Asked to Pay a Deposit of 50% of the Course Fee at the time of Booking. You can amend the dates later if required.
